Why is EMC offering shares of its VMware subsidiary to the public market?
Some theories:

Wow! Intel and Sun have finally decided to play nice together. After years of bickering, these two have announced a joint partnership where Sun will utilize Xeon chips and Intel will support Solaris 10. My how times have changed.
